National ICT Award for School Teachers for the year-2016:

Last date for submission of nomination/Entry by States/UTs and Autonomous Bodies working in School Education Sector is 31 August, 2016.

The ICT@Schools Scheme launched by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt of India has a component for awarding teachers for innovative use of ICTs in Teaching-Learning process. In all there are 90 Awards allocated to states/UTs and Autonomous organisations working in school education sector under MHRD-GoI. Now, Nominations/ entries for National ICT Award for School Teachers-2016 are invited from school teachers.

States/UTs/Autonomous organisations under MHRD-GOI [ i.e. KVS, NVS, CBSE,CICSE, CTSA, AEES, Sainik Schools under Ministry of Defence (MOD)etc.] are to submit shortlisted entries in order of merit (twice the number of their allotted awards quota) to the Joint Director, CIET-NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016 by 31 August, 2016.

Teachers are requested not to send their nominations directly to NCERT. Lats date for teachers to submit entries to their parent organisation through Principal/Head Master is 31 July, 2016.
