சென்னை போட்டித் தேர்வுகள் எழுதும் மாணவர்களுக்கு உதவ 6 முதல் 12 ஆம் வகுப்பு வரையிலான தேசிய கல்வி ஆணைய புத்தகங்களைத் தமிழில் மொழி பெயர்க்கத் தஞ்சை தமிழ் பல்கலைக்கழகத்துக்கு உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. தற்போது மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி, பட்ட மேற்படிப்பு , 

வேலை வாய்ப்பு போன்ற பலவற்றுக்கும் போட்டித் தேர்வுகள் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன. இந்த தேர்வுகளில் தேசிய கல்வி ஆணைய பாடபுத்தகங்களில் இருந்து கேள்விகள் கேட்கப்படுகின்றன. இந்த புத்தகங்கள் ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் இந்தியில் மட்டும் உள்ளதால் 

தமிழில் பயின்ற மாணவர்களுக்கு இவற்றைப் புரிந்துக் கொள்ள முடியாத நிலை உள்ளது. இது குறித்து சென்னையைச் சேர்ந்த ஆர் சந்தர் என்பவர் தகவல் உரிமைச் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் தஞ்சை தமிழ் பலகலைக்கழகத்துக்கு அளித்த மனுவில்,

 'நீட், ஜேஇஇ, வங்கி மற்றும் தபால் துறைகளில் வேலை வாய்ப்பு உள்ளிட்ட தேர்வுகளில் தேசிய கல்வி ஆணைய பாடப் புத்தகங்களிலிருந்து கேள்விகள் கேட்கப்படுகின்றன. ஆனால் அந்த புத்தகங்கள் ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் இந்தியில் உள்ளதால் தமிழ் வழி மாணவர்களுக்கு அது புரிவதில்லை.

தமிழில் மொழி பெயர்க்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதா?' எனக் கேட்டிருந்தார். இதற்கு பல்கலைக்கழகம் பதில் அளிக்காததால் சந்தர் மேல்முறையீடு செய்தார். இந்த மனுவை விசாரித்த மாநில தகவல் ஆணையர் முத்துராஜ், 

'தஞ்சை பல்கலைக்கழகம் தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களை மற்ற மொழிகளிலும் மற்ற மொழி இலக்கியங்களைத் தமிழ் மொழியிலும் மொழி பெயர்த்து வருகிறது. தமிழ் வழி மாணவர்கள் போட்டித் தேர்வுகளைத் தமிழில் எழுத ஆர்வம் காட்டியும் தேசிய கல்வி ஆணைய புத்தகங்கள் 

தமிழில் இல்லை. ஆகவே 6 முதல் 12 ஆம் வகுப்பு வரையிலான இயற்பியல், வேதியல், வரலாறு, புவியியல், பொருளாதாரம், கணிதம் உள்ளிட்ட தேசிய கல்வி ஆணைய பாடப் புத்தகங்களைத் தஞ்சை தமிழ் பலகலைக்கழகம் தமிழில் மொழி பெயர்க்க வேண்டும், 

இந்த மொழி பெயர்ப்பு பல்கலைக்கழக இணைய தளத்தில் பதிவேற்றம் செய்யப்பட வேண்டும்' என உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.

The Tanjay Tamil University has been ordered to translate the books of the National Education Commission in grades 6 to 12 to assist students in writing competitive exams in Chennai. There are currently competitive exams for medical college, degree and job placement. These selections include questions from the National Education Commission textbooks. Since these books are only available in English and Hindi, Tamil students are unable to understand them.

In a petition filed by R Chander from Chennai to the Tanzanian Tamil University under the Right to Information Act, 'Questions are being asked from the National Education Commission textbooks on exams including NEET, JEE, Banking and Post Office. But since the books are in English and Hindi, Tamil students do not understand it. And sometimes there is a mistake in translating exam questions. Due to this, Tamil language students are not able to win the exam. So, have steps been taken to translate the National Education Commission text books from grades 6 to 12 into Tamil? ' He asked.

As the university did not respond to this, Chander appealed. In response to the petition, State Information Commissioner Muthuraj said, 'Tanjore University is translating Tamil literature into other languages ​​and other language literature into Tamil. There are no books published by the National Education Commission in Tamil, but Tamil students are interested in writing competitive exams in Tamil. Therefore, the National Education Commission's textbooks including Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Economics and Mathematics from 6th to 12th grade should be translated in Tamil language and uploaded on the University website.
