அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழக பொதுப்பிரிவினருக்கான பி.இ., கவுன்சிலிங் ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கவுன்சிலிங் தேதி பின்னர் அறிவிக்கப்படும் என அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது:

சென்னையில் நாளை துவங்குவதாக இருந்த பொதுப்பிரிவினருக்கான பி.இ., கவுன்சிலிங் ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட் தீர்ப்பையடுத்து இந்த முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கவுன்சிலிங் தேதிபின்னர் அறிவிக்கப்படும் என அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. புதிய இன்ஜினியரிங் கல்லூரிகளை துவங்க, ஏ.ஐ.சி.டி.இ., சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட்டில் கால அவகாசம் கோரியிருந்தது. வரும் ஜூலை 3ம் தேதி வரை ஏ.ஐ.சி.டி.இ.,க்கு கால அவகாசம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளதால், கவுன்சிலிங் ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.

In view of the orders passed on 26.6.2014 by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the Writ Petitions Nos. 538 of 2014 etc., granting 7 days time to AICTE to take a decision on all the applications pending before the AICTE for grant of approval to certain technical institutions and in view of the opinion expressed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court that it would not be appropriate to adhere to the present schedule of counselling published by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA-2014), the General Academic Counselling for Engineering Admissions scheduled to commence from 27.6.2014 stands postponed. The revised date of counselling for the candidates who have been called for counselling from 27.6.2014 onwards will be informed shortly. Secretary, TNEA.
